VOCATIONAL EDUCATION/ TRAINING:

In the leisure time the children are provided vocational training like Tailoring, Kitchen Gardening, etc. We have also planned to provide some more skill development training like terracotta, mushroom cultivation, motor winding, etc during the coming financial year 2022-23.

a.      TAILORING:

              The vocational instructor guides the inmates for tailoring. The inmates are able to stitch the old garments found defective for use and even new school uniform which will help them for income and self sustain.

b.      GARDENING:

                 The vocational instructor also teaches the details about the usefulness of Kitchen Garden and its daily requirement to compensate the budget of fooding unit of Govt. grant. By organizing such skilled kitchen gardening fresh vegetables may be available but not depending the daily market which so far away from the institution. Further, gradually the product from garden in shape of selling flowers and bouquet can help the inmates a rehabilitation and income generation.
